The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Municipal Action Team Malita under the DSWD conducted an activity syposium entitled “Let’s Do Gender Rights: Pakighinabi sa Tribuhonon with a theme: Dialogue for Change Creating Spaces for Open Discussion on Early Marriage and (GAD) Gender and Development” held at 73rd Infantry Battalion HQ Covered Court, Brgy. Felis, Malita, Davao Occidental.
The Women’s Association of Malita (WAM) commemorated the 2024 National Women’s Month with an opening program with a theme: Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan!
The program commenced with a eucharistic celebration presided over by Rev. Fr. Rogelio Albite, DCD. In his disposition, Father Yoyong pertains that women empowerment isn’t a competition among men but it is just a “complexity” for gender equality.
The Davao Occidental Provincial Athletic Association 2024 has finally come to an end. The 4-day sporting activity by the five municipalities of the Province of Davao Occidental was hosted by the Municipality of Malita. Students from the Elementary and Secondary levels battle out to the best of their abilities to take the top spot in each sporting event. Among the five municipalities, the municipality of Sta.
