TRAINING | ICS Level 3: Position Course

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, in partnership with the Office of Civil Defense-Region XI (OCD-XI), provided technical assistance through an Incident Command System Level 3: Position Course for the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council Members on March 17-21, 2025, at La Vista Zia Resort, Brgy. Little Baguio, Malita, Davao Occidental.

The training was attended by instructors LDRRM II Ms. Eileen Joy A. Manatad, RN, Operations and Warning Section Chief- LGU Compostela, Davao de Oro, together with Mr. Francis Jayson J. Bendulo, RN- PDRRMO Assistant Head Davao Oriental, PMaj. Arnold B. Absin (Ret.), RCrim – ICS CADRE Region XI, 2Lt. Edsel S. Fulguerinas PAF (Ret.) – ICS CADRE Region XI and Geol. Ariel Austin A. Acosta, PhD – MDRRMO Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental.

The ICS Level 3 Position Course is an advanced training program providing in-depth knowledge and skills for specific Incident Command System (ICS) roles. This course focuses on the responsibilities, expected outcomes, and techniques necessary to perform effectively in a particular ICS position. It includes detailed lectures, interactive activities, and evaluations to ensure participants are well-prepared for their roles.
