SPES Orientation 2024
The SPES (Special Program for Employment of Students) Orientation 2024 is set to be an exciting and informative event designed to welcome and prepare new participants for this year’s implementation. The orientation featured various guest speakers with Miss Niรฑa A. Dacillo as DICT’s representative who provided awareness on Cyberbullying, Cybersecurity, and Data Privacy Act to give awareness to all the SPES Beneficiaries and Miss Jessa Mae Barase as DOLE XI Davao Occidental Field Office’s representative who provided valuable information about work ethic and what SPES is all about, as well as, Hon. Bradly L. Bautista duly represented by Mr. Narciso S. Birondo II who also provided inspirational messages to all the participants.
Furthermore, the SPES Program aims to provide students with valuable work experience and lets them generate income to help them with their academic journey. SPES also offers a comprehensive overview of the opportunities and responsibilities involved. Attendees were set to learn about program guidelines, work placements, and skill development workshops, all tailored to enhance their professional growth throughout the orientation.
Altogether, the SPES Orientation 2024 is the pivotal starting point for students eager to gain practical experience and advance their careers in the long run.
