Knowledge Management and Risk Information Session for Informal Settlers

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), in collaboration with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), spearheaded a Knowledge Management and Risk Information Session for informal settlers along the riverbank of Poblacion, Malita. The initiative aimed to enhance community awareness and preparedness against flooding hazards.

Mr. Jetroy Diaz, Local DRRM Officer II, Research and Planning Division Head of MDRRMO Malita, served as the resource speaker, emphasizing proactive measures and safety protocols to mitigate risks and protect vulnerable communities.

ICS Executive Course

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office in partnership with Office of Civil Defense-Region XI (OCD-XI) provided technical assistance through an Incident Command System Executive Course for the Municipality of Malita to all Council Members and Department Heads led by Mayor Bradly L. Bautista on 21 February 2025 at EM-Jake Aquawave Resort Hotel and Convention Center, General Santos City.

The training were attended by instructors Ms. Michelle Jean Armilla -MDRRMO Kiblawan,together with Mr. Prosperous Dajalos- CDRRMO Panabo City and Ret. 2Lt. Edzel Furiquerinas Philippine Airforce.

Charity Day 2025

The NISANHO LOGISTICS CORPORATION, a private agency, successfully conducted their Charity Day 2025 in collaboration with LGU Malita headed by Hon. Mayor Bradly L. Bautista through the Office of Municipal Social Welfare and Development. The event took place in Brgy.
