Women’s Pasalubong Center

The Municipality of Malita marked a significant milestone on May 3 by blessing and turning over its Women’s Pasalubong Center, which is located in Barangay Lacaron.

The establishment of the Women’s Pasalubong Center is a collaborative effort of various stakeholders, including the Malita Tourism Office and the Federation of Women (FEDOWE), with support from the provincial leaders, Governor Atty. Franklin P. Bautista, Vice Governor Lorna Bautista-Bandigan, and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Board Members have been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition.

Training for Cash for Work

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Malita, in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), successfully conducted a comprehensive Training for Cash for Work as part of the DSWD’s “Lawa at Binhi Program.” This initiative brought together three participating barangays: Brgy. Pangaleon, Brgy. Kilalag, and Brgy. Datu Danwata. These barangays were selected to benefit from the program, which aims to enhance community resilience and provide economic support through structured employment opportunities.
