Turn Over Ceremony at MSWDO Malita

Yesterday marked the successful turn-over Ceremony of the weighing scale and height board devices intended for our Daycare Children as part of the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Program.

The Supplementary Feeding Program Focal and the Department of Social Welfare and Development Office (DSWD) attended the program from Region XI and Davao Occidental with the Women’s Of Malita (WAM) President, Madam Jean Seekins Bautista. The chosen venue was the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) Malita. The program ended with a photo opportunity for the attendees and planning of the program updates for the Supplementary Feeding under the ECCD Program.

Knowledge Management and Risk Information Session for Informal Settlers

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), in collaboration with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), spearheaded a Knowledge Management and Risk Information Session for informal settlers along the riverbank of Poblacion, Malita. The initiative aimed to enhance community awareness and preparedness against flooding hazards.

Mr. Jetroy Diaz, Local DRRM Officer II, Research and Planning Division Head of MDRRMO Malita, served as the resource speaker, emphasizing proactive measures and safety protocols to mitigate risks and protect vulnerable communities.

Charity Day 2025

The NISANHO LOGISTICS CORPORATION, a private agency, successfully conducted their Charity Day 2025 in collaboration with LGU Malita headed by Hon. Mayor Bradly L. Bautista through the Office of Municipal Social Welfare and Development. The event took place in Brgy. Mana, Malita, Davao Occidental, as one of the selected communities, aimed to extend essential support and assistance.
The event’s highlights included the giving of warm messages and distribution of essential goods to the community, bringing much-needed relief to the residents. This initiative reflects an ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
