The Women’s Association of Malita (WAM) commemorated the 2024 National Women’s Month with an opening program with a theme: Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan!
The program commenced with a eucharistic celebration presided over by Rev. Fr. Rogelio Albite, DCD. In his disposition, Father Yoyong pertains that women empowerment isn’t a competition among men but it is just a “complexity” for gender equality.
The Davao Occidental Provincial Athletic Association 2024 has finally come to an end. The 4-day sporting activity by the five municipalities of the Province of Davao Occidental was hosted by the Municipality of Malita. Students from the Elementary and Secondary levels battle out to the best of their abilities to take the top spot in each sporting event. Among the five municipalities, the municipality of Sta. Today marks the opening of the Davao Occidental Provincial Athletics Association Meet 2024 which is to be held at the Provincial Capitol grounds in Brgy. Lais, Malita, Davao Occidental. The opening ceremonies were graced by our beloved Honorable Governor Franklin P. Bautista together with the representatives of the five municipalities of Davao Occidental – Sta. Maria, Malita, Don Marcelino, Jose Abad Santos and Sarangani, and representatives of the Department of Education Division of Davao Occidental.
