Charity Day 2025

The NISANHO LOGISTICS CORPORATION, a private agency, successfully conducted their Charity Day 2025 in collaboration with LGU Malita headed by Hon. Mayor Bradly L. Bautista through the Office of Municipal Social Welfare and Development. The event took place in Brgy. Mana, Malita, Davao Occidental, as one of the selected communities, aimed to extend essential support and assistance.
The event’s highlights included the giving of warm messages and distribution of essential goods to the community, bringing much-needed relief to the residents. This initiative reflects an ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.

DSWD – Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP)

The DSWD – Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), in collaboration with the LGU Malita through Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), successfully participated in the turnover, launching, and ceremonial ribbon-cutting of two significant livelihood projects aimed at empowering local communities.
The first event marked the formal launch and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the “Agri-Supply Trading Project” under the Kilalag Mag-uuma SLP Association. This initiative aims to strengthen agricultural trade, ensuring that farmers gain better market access and sustainable income opportunities.

DavOccPAA 2025

The 2025 Davao Occidental Provincial Athletic Association Meet was held at the oval grounds in Brgy. Poblacion, Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental. Opening highlights showcased the parade of participants from Sta. Maria, Malita, Don Marcelino (host municipality), Jose Abad Santos, and Sarangani. Also in the parade were the technical officials from different schools and the Department of Education Schools Division of Davao Occidental. The opening address was delivered by Honorable Mayor Michael Maruya. This annual sporting event will bring about the best athletes in preparation to compete in the Davao Region Athletic Association.
