Malita West District Athletic Meet 2024 Officially Kicks Off Today
The Malita West District Athletic Meet 2024 opened with a dynamic display of unity and school pride as athletes, coaches, and officials gathered for the event at Julian M. Turado Elementary School.
The day began with a colorful parade and a vibrant Marching Saludo by the participants, setting the stage for an exciting and competitive meet.
The People’s Law Enforcement Board (PLEB) Capacity and Development Campaign transpired on September 24, 2024, at Mutya and Matt Event Hall, Poblacion, Malita, Davao Occidental with the participation of PLEB Board Members, PLEB Staff, SPAMAST Criminology Instructor, Malita Pulis, Brgy. Kagawad, Brgy. Tanod, TMC, and CSU.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our speakers coming from NAPOLCOM Region XI, Atty. Christian Bryan S. Arias (Chief NAPOLCOM Regional Investigation Unit) and Atty. Reina Rea Zozobrado (Provincial Officer for Davao del Norte and Davao Oriental) for imparting your wisdom on the PLEB procedure, jurisdiction, venue, offenses, penalties, and other topics. Your ability to engage the audience and share your expertise made a significant impact. We all left feeling motivated and equipped with new ideas to implement.
On September 3, 2024, the Local Government Unit of Malita proudly welcomed the DILG national validation team for the 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) the event was graced by the presence of the provincial director John Ace Azarcon CSEE along with LGOO V Jenessa Carmela Tatoy this visit marked an important step in the validation process as the LGU was spearheaded by LCE Hon. Mayor Bradly L. Bautista, embodied by madam Jean Seekins Bautista, demonstrated its commitment to good governance and service delivery to its constituents.
