Davao Occidental, Philippines – Three municipalities in Davao Occidental have been honored with the prestigious 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) award. The municipalities of Don Marcelino, Jose Abad Santos, and Malita were recognized for their outstanding performance in promoting local governance.

The SGLG award is a recognition given by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to local government units (LGUs) that exhibit good governance practices. To qualify for the award, LGUs must meet specific criteria, including financial transparency, accountability, and service delivery.
