Pasalubong Center

We are delighted to announce the successful groundbreaking of the Pasalubong Center at Barangay Lacaron, Malita, Davao Occidental! This initiative represents a significant milestone in our efforts to uplift local enterprises and strengthen our community’s economic foundation.

Our deepest appreciation goes to Governor Atty. Franklin P. Bautista and Vice Governor Lorna Bautista-Bandigan, represented by Ma’am Marivic Hubac, whose foresight and dedication have been pivotal in transforming this vision into reality.

Special recognition is due to our esteemed local leaders—Mayor Hon. Bradly L. Bautista, First Lady Jean Seekins-Bautista, and Vice Mayor Hon. Estefanie Bautista-Dumama. Their unwavering commitment and proactive leadership have been crucial in driving this project forward, and we are truly grateful for their continued support in fostering the growth of Malita.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Board Members, including Hon. Brett L. Bautista, alongside his supportive wife and Provincial Tourism Officer Ma’am Anna Christine L. Bautista, Hon. Rogelio Baribar Sr., Hon. Alberto Carlo G. Baliota, and our Provincial IPMR Hon. Carmelita Oralde. Your collective efforts have been instrumental in the realization of this endeavor.

We are equally thankful to the Barangay Captain of Brgy Lacaron and FABC President Hon. Bianca Ricci Bautista-Navarra and her Council for their steadfast support.

Moreover, we thank the various organizations and institutions whose partnerships have been vital to this project’s success. These include NCIP, which is under the leadership of Atty. Leonor Oralde-Quintayo; SPAMAST Malita, led by Dr. Lynette A. Bontia, with representation by Dr. Edelyn S. Albiso and Ma’am Sheena Love P. Estilloso; DTI, led by Ms. Art Hermoso, with representatives Sir Candido Limikid, Sir Miles Shuck, and Sir Bervin Maneja; DOST, led by Ma’am Maria Victoria Dado, represented by Sir Rogeric Selma; TESDA, under the leadership of Adonis F. Culas, represented by Marvin Salvador; and PEEIPO, represented by Sir Vicente Tapungot Jr.

We also extend heartfelt thanks to the Women’s Association of Malita (WAM) under the active leadership of First Lady Jean Seekins-Bautista, along with Officers Ma’am Juvy M. Lopez, Ma’am Flaviana I. Ono, Ma’am Teresita C. Caballero, Ma’am Arlene Mariano, and Ma’am Elvira T. Failma. Our appreciation also goes to our FEDOWE Coordinator Ma’am Marianela Dela Cerna Malinao, the Datu Danwata Women’s Association led by Hon. Lolita Labis, the New Argao Women’s Pottery Association led by Hon. Cleofe C. Maneja, and the Talagoy Women’s Association (TAWA) led by Hon. Carmelita Oralde for their dedication and hard work.

We are especially grateful to the Kasinag Sidlakan Dance Troupe, led by Sir Arshed Sayadi, for adding color and energy to the event with their captivating performances.

A special mention goes to YarnThroughMe, owned and managed by Sir Joe Randy Simpron and Ma’am Sheila Marie Simpron, for their valuable contributions. We also recognize the diligent efforts of the Mayor’s Office Staff, the Municipal Sports Development Office, and the Municipal Tourism, LCA Office of Malita, who have been key to the seamless execution of this event.

This Pasalubong Center is a symbol of our united efforts and shared commitment to advancing Malita’s future. Thank you to everyone who contributed to bringing this vision to life!
